Certified destruction is the controlled, witnessed destruction of stock that must never re-enter the market — branded rejects, recalled units, tooling, dies and molds, defective production runs, decommissioned assets with brand or security exposure. We destroy the items to scrap state, document the process with photos and video, and issue a destruction certificate listing quantities, method, date, and witnesses. The metal residue is then purchased at formula price like any other scrap — the destruction protects your brand; the recovery still pays you.
Why not just sell it as surplus?
Because surplus resurfaces. Branded rejects sold whole have a way of reappearing in gray-market channels with your name on them; tooling sold intact can reproduce your parts. Destruction-to-scrap removes the object and keeps only the metal value. If an item merely needs disposal rather than destruction, we will tell you — destruction is charged as a handling adjustment in the formula, and we do not upsell it.
