Aluminum scrap — light metal, heavy paperwork done right

Extrusions, sheet and plate offcuts, cast aluminum, wheels, UBC and litho — graded openly and weighed on calibrated scales for manufacturing, construction and facilities accounts.

We buy aluminum scrap from corporate sources: extrusion offcuts (mill-finish, anodized, powder-coated), sheet and plate offcuts, cast aluminum and machined castings, alloy wheels, used beverage cans (UBC) in commercial volumes, and litho sheets from printers. Aluminum’s challenge is grade fragmentation — the same kilo can differ significantly in value by alloy and coating, so the grading table matters more here than in any other family.

Which aluminum grades do we distinguish?

  • Clean extrusion (6063-type) — the family’s reference grade; coatings and thermal breaks adjust the factor.
  • Sheet & plate offcuts — production offcuts, graded on alloy and cleanliness.
  • Cast — housings, machined castings, die-cast; separate factor from wrought grades.
  • Wheels — clean alloy wheels, commercial lots.
  • UBC & litho — commercial volumes only (canteens, printers, venues), baled or loose.

What moves an aluminum load’s value most?

Contamination control. Steel screws left in extrusions, iron inserts in castings, and mixed-alloy piles all pull a load toward the lowest factor present. The fix is cheap: magnet-check at your segregation point (aluminum doesn’t stick; steel does) and keep cast separate from extrusion. Your Account Officer sets this up at survey — most sites get it right within one pickup cycle.

Typical aluminum accounts

Aluminum fabricators and glazing contractors (extrusion offcuts), manufacturers with stamping or machining lines (sheet, castings), fit-out contractors (frames, cladding), printers (litho), and facilities with canteen UBC programs. Whatever the source, the mechanics are the same: formula price, calibrated weighing, complete paper.
